On November 3, 2020, the organization “Lawyers of Distinction” recognized JT Law Firm’s Attorney Monica Balyasny for excellence in Immigration Law.
The organization, Lawyers of Distinction’s primary mission is to promote excellence and diversity in the legal profession. In order to be selected by Lawyer’s of Distinction for membership, attorneys are selected based upon a thorough review and vetting process. First, an attorney must be nominated. Following their nomination, Lawyers of Distinction will begin to grade the nominee using certain criteria. The platform will first consider the nominee’s case results, honors/awards, Google reviews, AVVO reviews, legal experience, educational background, verdicts/settlements, special certifications, representative clients’ professional activities, pro bono/community service, and lectures/writings/publications. Next, the nominee has an ethics review and background check. If the applicant receives a passing score, they will then be selected for membership and recognition.
